I would like to thank you for your advice and expertise when Alison and I were looking for an engagement ring.
We visited Alan's shop in Eaglesham just before Christmas armed with information that
we had obtained from trawling the internet.
Alan presented us with a variety of stones and explained and demonstrated the problems
with the stones we had sourced. If we had not spoken to Alan we would have had no idea
of the potential pitfalls and in all likelihood we would have ended up with a ring that was
less than perfect.
As a result of meeting with Alan and the time and effort he spent in assisting us the ring
that Alan created far exceeded our expectations. Not only did Alan help us identify the
stone that was right for us he was also excellent when discussing the best setting. Alison
wanted something quite unusual and Alan immediately took on board her comments and
made various helpful suggestions. The result was a ring that not only delighted us but one
which has been widely complimented as stunning!

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for the stunning design and workmanship that went into crafting a unique gift for my daughters for Christmas.
From the onset the advice was second to none and at all stages of the process I was informed as to the progress, whether it be in the choice of metals or diamond or that the gold was in Edinburgh to be hallmarked.

Dear Alan,
I, Robert Nigel Martin, Solicitor, 2 Wellington Square, Ayr, confirm that I commissioned Alan P. Fulton to design and make an appropriate presentation gifts for a Legends Charity Golf Event which involved playing the first hole on 18 different courses on the West Coast of Scotland in one day. Alan provided two magnificent mahogany pieces showing the coastline in silver with the various courses marked with miniature golf tees and balls thereon.
The gifts were duly presented to the participants, the late Broon frae Troon and Kenny Dalgleish and Gordon subsequently told me he had visited Kenny in his home and it took pride of place on his mantlepiece. I can pay no higher tribute.
The quality of the work was exceptional and I hate to think of the time spent on the detail of the miniature tees and dimpled balls.
Such was the success of the event that I commissioned Alan again to design and make thank you gifts for 8 Legends taking part in a further event the following year. He designed and made gold golf ball markers with the participants Christian names thereon for the famous Scottish celebrities. They appreciated this unique gift.
On each occassion I gave Alan the gist of what was happening and he went away, dreamt up the idea, gained my approval and proceeded to completion with considerable skill and the minimum of fuss. The work was exceptional which pleased me in view of the status of the recipients.
I would happily recommend Alan's work to anyone.

Dear Alan,
I am writing this testimonial on behalf of my parents Eddie and Janette Livingston who used your services before Christmas for some new rings.
Firstly my fathers ring was not just a simple band but remodelling his old wedding ring with some texture and adding other metal to this to create what looks like a brand new ring which he now were everyday, something he never used to do.
Secondly with my mothers ring you had no problem allowing her to choose from a selection of diamonds you ordered in and advising them of the differences between them. After selecting the diamond and style of setting you got about making the rings and were also able to deliever early.
Both my parents are delighted with their new rings and the service you provided from start to finish was described to me as "second to none".
